Because your home naturally breathes, the air in your attic and crawl space finds its way into the living areas of your home.
Many times, attics and crawl spaces contain biological waste left behind from old or existing rodent infestations. Droppings will be on insulation, framing, foundation sills and vapor barriers, which are not only odorous, but can also harbor bacteria and disease.
By removing, thoroughly cleaning, sanitizing and replacing contaminated materials and vapor barriers, you will greatly contribute to increasing the indoor air quality in your home.
OUR THREE STEP PROCESS:
1. REMOVE CONTAMINATED MATERIALS
We safely remove all contaminated material, insulation, vapor barriers, debris and rodent droppings by bagging in place, to avoid cross-contamination.
2. CLEAN AND SANITIZE
We throughly clean all building structures including floor & ceiling joists and foundation sills, then apply a sanitizing anti-microbial application to help eliminate germs and the cause of odors.
3. REPLACE MATERIALS
Finally, we replace insulation and (in crawl spaces) install a new heavy duty vapor barrier.
BEFORE & AFTER
BEFORE; rodent feces and urine contamination, compromised insulation and vapor barrier.
AFTER; clean out renovation with new insulation, vapor barrier and anti-microbial application.
